Beautiful hand-carved marble sculptures and statues
The Art Cafe in Hoi An is home to Eric's art gallery where he exhibits his sculptures.
Eric took an opportunity in 2005 to rent a house in the old quarter of the historic Hoi An town (the Vietnamese spelling is Hội An). This three storey ancient building on Nguyen Thai Hoc street (Nguyễn Thái Học) was just what Eric needed. He restored parts of the building and has created an ideal space for his sculptures.
At the entrance are some large marble pieces which passers by can admire.

Inside, smaller pieces are shown in compartments and larger pieces on the stone floor.

At the back is a peaceful garden with seating - a perfect setting to relax, read a book or have a drink.

There is free wifi (wireless internet) access throughout the Art Cafe.
Inside is a marble table with benches and cushions for seating.

Hoi An is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and attracts a lot of travellers and tourists. They enjoy relaxing in the tranquil Art Cafe while they have a fresh juice, shake or Vietnamese coffee.
Outside, motorbikes and bicycles slowly cruise by, weaving between the pedestrians.

If you are visiting Vietnam, try to include Hoi An in your trip. It is a charming ancient town rich with history. We hope to see you at the Art Cafe!
